Why women should do vaginal tightening after childbirth?

Usually vaginal laxity occurs after childbirth due to the following 3 reasons:

1. Multiple childbirths. The more children you deliver, the loosen your vagina becomes;
2. Tearing or thinning of the muscles around the vagina during the childbirth process;
3. The muscle tissue is not completely sutured after childbirth.

That’s why after childbirth new mothers can feel distressed about the changes they see in their bodies.

Also with the increase of age, the estrogen level of women decreases, which causes the muscles, fascia, ligaments and related supporting structures to deform, the muscle tension decreases, the fascia becomes thinner, and the vaginal mucosa shrinks, which makes it even heavier.

Some new mothers with long-term chronic diseases, weak constitution, and light weight, their muscles, fascia, ligaments and other structures are also more relaxed, which will worsen vaginal laxity. They may find the “loosen“ vagina becomes even worse after childbirth.

Vaginal laxity may result in leaking small amounts of urine when coughing, sneezing, laughing or running; reduced vagina sensation during sex life, etc. All these problems are annoying that can’t be revealed to others.
